Like billions of people across the world I was both shocked by the election of Donald Trump as US President. On Inauguration day itself I was impressed and heartened by the response of US citizens – who challenged Trump in the streets, protests later taking place at airports, and cities all over the US, as well as all over the world.

I took photos of the TV screen on 20 January 2017 with my iphone and have used these images in  drawings, paintings and mixed media pieces.
